Polkadot (DOT) Accepted

Launched in 2020, Polkadot is a sharded protocol that allows for the interoperability of multiple blockchains, enabling them to share information and assets. Polkadot's unique design includes a main relay chain, which coordinates consensus and transaction validation, and multiple parachains, which are customized blockchains that can be developed to suit specific use cases. The platform uses a unique consensus mechanism called Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) to secure the network and incentivize participation. The DOT token is used for governance and staking on the network.
