Reddit, which is one of the world’s most popular sites, also known as a social hub, where people can share different ideas and find out more, has decided to change their privacy policy, thus sparking quite a lot of controversies.
Things started following a comment posted on the platform, which said that in a part of Reddit’s new privacy policy, it was signaled that the platform takes the liberty of sharing your personal information with 3rd party advertisers. The measure, which will become effective on January 1, 2016, has angered lots of users, who wondered why the decision was taken in such a short period of time.
